Mission Statement
The EAP is an autonomous public institution of higher learning at the service of the people of Puerto Rico and their culture. The EAP devotes its effort to a comprensive education of proffessional artist and art teachers, through development of creativity and cognocitive processes as well us the teaching of artistics and pedagogical technique. It offers bachelors of art programs that encourage and promote the humanistic and cultural development of its students, who are trained with close ties expression. The Escuela de Artes Pl sticas aspires to develop a social conciense in its students and to aweken their sensibilities towards the pursuit of a fulfilling life. The EAP provides continuos education to differents sectors of the community throgh short courses designed to broaden their knowledge and artist, professional or personal skills
