Mission Statement
The PRCM is a public higher education institution committed to the formation of music professionals in the area of performance, composition and music education, equipping them to follow artistic careers and to become cultural leaders of our society. Aspiring to establish a bridge between musicians and educators of the Caribbean, Central and South America and those of the United States, the institution is committed to preserve, enrich and disseminate the musical heritage and traditions of the Caribbean and, more generally, of wester civilization.
