Mission Statement
The University of Puerto Rico at Utuado will provide relevant and quality postsecondary education at the undergraduate level in the areas of Agricultural Technology, in the Educational and Administrative professions, and in the Arts and the Sciences. Committed to sustainability and conservation of the environment, it will form graduates intellectually and morally prepared by their skills, attitudes and habits to contribute to the progress of Puerto Rico and its insertion in a world without frontiers.It will contribute to the improvement of the population which it serves by offering a variety of updated academic experiences, focused on research and creation. These programs will have the flexibility to meet the demands of a complex and changing labor panorama as well as to stimulate a love for learning and the enjoyment of culture.
