Mission Statement
In accordance with the mission of the North Carolina Community College System, the mission of Western Piedmont Community College is to open the door to high-quality, accessible learning opportunities that minimize barriers to postsecondary education, maximize student success, and improve the lives and well-being of individuals by providing:Education, training and retraining for the workforce, includingbasic skills and literacy education, occupational and pre- baccalaureate programs.
