- Complete substitute teacher training. There are two trainings for some districts,
including computer-based training and in-person training.
The fingerprint requirement can also be fulfilled by submitting a current teacher
certification. Experienced substitute teachers with at least one year of classroom
experience may not be required to attend in-person substitute teacher training.
