Animation Schools Overview

Animation schools teach classes in traditional forms of animation techniques along with our new technical and computerized versions of this art. Students can be exposed to lessons in 2D or 3D animation, computerized animation, video game design and game art, Maya character animation, character design techniques, modeling, cartooning, background painting and Photoshop techniques, Storyboard, digital composting or a variety of other animation specialties along these lines.

Who goes to Animation Schools?

People normally go to animation schools when they have a burning desire to entered into the animation film or gaming industry. Generally, most trade schools, colleges, or universities that teach animation techniques will special-tailor a course of study to meet your end-goals if a pre-defined course of study does not meet all of your requirements.

Most animation schools simply require that you are a high school graduate, or hold a completed GED certification instead of a high school diploma before allowing you to sign-up for classes. Some colleges offer AA, BA, or Master Degree programs in Animation, or in a related field that includes the option to specialize in animation skills.
