Game Design Schools and Programs Overview

People who enter a game design course of study are seeking a career in designing or developing video games or other multimedia applications. In most situations, students will be exposed to a general education that includes game design process, technology, and techniques, animations, level design processes, and other gaming industry necessities. Career positions include team-player jobs related to design, testing, or developing and animation or 3D scene production.

Who goes to Game Design Schools?

Most game design schools require their students to be high school graduates or GED certificate holders prior to registration. Most employment positions within this industry require a BA degree or higher.
