Also, you need to be sure that you are wiling to risk your life for others, because often police officers need to do this in order to provide the best safety and security for everyone else.

Therefore, if you are looking at a law enforcement career, you are going to have several different things to look at because there are going to be lots of different variations of the careers that you might be doing.
