NCBTMB CEUs Overview

The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) requires that massage therapists complete continuing education units (CEUs) each year in order to maintain their certification. State licensing agencies that regulate the massage therapy industry also require massage therapists to complete CEUs; therefore, in order to continue practicing as a massage therapists anywhere in the country, massage therapy practitioners must obtain continuing education units on a regular basis.
