Becoming a substitute teacher is a great way for retired teachers to stay in the
teaching field on a part-time basis, or for prospective teachers to experience the
world of teaching and determine if this rewarding career is the right choice for
you.
Students who are currently enrolled in Nevada teaching credential programs, or who
are considering enrolling, will benefit from substitute teaching by having the opportunity
to create and implement lesson plans, learn classroom management skills and network
with educators and administrators.
