For those who sincerely enjoy working around children and young adults, the career

the state of Nevada, after high school graduation, you will need to enroll into

Program and Competency Test Form and submit that with your transcripts.
- New teachers must pass the
Praxis 1 and Praxis 2 tests to satisfaction.
- New teachers must pass the
Nevada Teacher Competency Test.
- New teachers must pass FBI and State background and fingerprint checks.
- Nevada expects employed teachers to participate in professional development hours
or continuing education for licenses to be renewed.
