Who goes to Audio Production Schools?
Most of the people who go to audio production schools are planning on a career within the entertainment community, or as experts in charge of making and choreographing soundtracks for games or other special situations.
Classes can be taken from trade schools, colleges, or universities and some of these schools will offer AA, or BA degree programs. Whenever possible, it is always advisable to try to get a degree for the best employment opportunities. Although, trade schools not offering a degree program are often smaller than colleges and able to give individualized or private lessons to students who need an area or two of training faster than a degree program can offer.
Audio production schools are normally in-person classes, but it is possible to find some online versions of classes that give training that you can practice later when equipment is available. Schools normally require that students have a high school diploma or GED certificate finished before registering for classes. We keep a large list of trade schools, colleges, and university links that can help you to understand more about the audio production industry and classes.
