School libraries have changed drastically in the last few years, and so have traditional librarians. The role has transitioned from a book manager to vital member of the education leadership team. APU's Library Media Teacher (LMT) Credential Program prepares library media teachers as expert, specialized educational leaders in the areas of technology, literacy, and diversity. Throughout the program, students are expected to be proficient in the use of a laptop and online instruction, as well as current updates to library media teacher technology.
