Online Degrees - Central Pennsylvania College

Students who complete the following coursesare awarded either a certificate in Accounting (18credits) or a certificate in Advanced Accounting(24 credits). These courses provide the studentwith requisite knowledge in generally-acceptedaccounting principles and standards, the accountingneeds of various types of organizations, andfinancial statement analysis. Additionally, theAdvanced Accounting courses will prepare studentswith two or more years of work experiencein accounting and a baccalaureate degree to sit forthe Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.These courses may be completed aspart of, or in addition to, major electives in anydegree program other than the associate orbachelor degrees in Accounting or as part of acontinuing education program.
