The Bachelor of Science degree in CorporateCommunications prepares students for an excitingcareer in the fast-growing field ofbusiness-oriented communications. The programis designed to enhance students' expertisein diverse areas of communications and willenable them to find jobs in a variety of professionalsettings. Courses provide extensive skillbuilding in journalism and public relations writing,media relations, crisis communications, andadvertising theory. Students also take a widevariety of upper-level elective courses, such asevent planning, political communications, fundraisingand grant writing, and polling. This broadoffering of communications electives, combinedwith finely honed core classes, enables studentsto specialize their degree while gaining a widerange of communications skills that make themhighly marketable in the field.
