CIE's distance learning program Introduction to Home Automation Installation is an introductory course that does not require any previous home networking experience, but by the end of the course you will have gained a solid foundation in home technology integration while preparing for both the HTI+ and CEDIA installer certifications. This course will teach you to service and troubleshoot home automated systems. You will learn the skills to install, service and troubleshoot home automated systems like home security, audio/video, computer networks, electrical wiring, HVAC, cable and satellite while preparing for the HTI+ and CEDIA installer certifications.
