The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree-completion program in Health Services Administration (HSAD), which consists of 180 quarter credits (120 semester credits), provides an entirely online course of study primarily for part-time students holding approximately 90-135 approved quarter credits (60-90 approved semester credits)* and wishing to major in this area to qualify for administrative/managerial positions in hospitals, clinics, managed-care organizations, health-insurance companies, health-marketing firms, and law firms focusing on health-care issues. This program provides a strong foundation in general management and economic policies related to health care, as well as interdisciplinary courses dealing with ethical, religious, psychosocial, political, legal, literary, and historical perspectives regarding health-care practices and populations in need of health care, especially diverse and vulnerable groups.
