EKU's Fire & Safety faculty are nationally and internationally known for their teaching, research and dedication to the fire and safety fields. They are active in numerous professional organizations including the National Association of Fire Investigators, National Fire Protection Association, International Society of Fire Service Instructors, International Association of Arson Investigators and the International Association of Fire Chiefs and work closely with FEMA to establish standards of practice. The faculty is especially dedicated to student success and utilizes a hands-on approach to teaching.
