The student affairs master's degree is a 39-credit-hour program that prepares individuals to work in a variety of student affairs and higher education offices in colleges and universities. The program curriculum includes significant supervised practice course work and blends class-based, practicum-based, and independent learning experiences.Students can complete the program in two years on campus or three years using distance education (the Internet). Three courses (SAHE 533, SAHE 641, and COUN 615) must be taken in a regular classroom at an accredited university and credit transferred to ISU with consent of the student's advisor.
