Mountain State University founded in 1933, is an independent, not-for-profit university offering traditional classroom-based education as well as independent and distance learning programs. Mountain State University offers online courses and degrees through WebCT, or Web Course Tools. WebCT is a home site for online courses and has tools on it that allow students to access course information, communicate with their instructor and other students, and complete and submit assignments.
