This class introduces the Kinesthetic Sense and its effect on our body coordination, tension level, and amount of effort and pressure we produce during movement. Experiments include bending over the table, using the shoulders, arms, neck, head, and legs when giving a massage, as well as other movements. In this class we also take a thorough look at how not to interfere with the natural flow of the movement; how to pause before the action; and to prepare before carrying out an activity. This class is taught for personal development only, and not as a training to become a teacher or a practitioner of the Alexander Technique.
