The B.S.Ed. in Career and Technical Education, an Occupational Education emphasis degree, is designed for those who do not desire to be Secondary Education certified in the State of Arizona. However, the program can be customized to meet certification requirements in certain situations. This degree is designed for those who have occupational work experience and are seeking a bachelor's degree and for those with career goals outside of secondary teaching. Many students who pursue this degree are already CTE or "vocational" certified in the State of Arizona. Others are working in business and industry and desire an occupational education degree.
