Online Degrees - Northern Arizona University(NAU)

The B.A.S. in early Childhood Education specialization is offered for students who have earned any Associate degree from a community college. This program provides the education and skills to comply with the No Child Left Behind Act, which requires all pre-school teachers affiliated with public schools to have bachelors' degrees by 2006. The B.A.S. is based on state and national education reforms and the expanding specialized knowledge base concerning early childhood, creating educational opportunities throughout the state. This degree does not result in state certification. This degree program is available as a BAS (Bachelor of Applied Science) or BAiLS (Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies).
