Online Degrees - Northern Arizona University(NAU)

The objectives of our degree are threefold. First, our courses help you develop a critical knowledge of the diverse ideas and values espoused by both Western and non-Western cultures. We emphasize learning about aesthetic, moral, and environmental ideas and values, and our courses examine works of art, music, and literature as well as philosophical, historical, environmental, and religious writings from a diversity of cultures for their expressions of such ideas and values. Our second objective is to help you perfect essential skills such as effective writing, critical reading, critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and creativity. Our third objective is to prepare you for a variety of specific careers or for graduate study. Our programs, in connection with specific professional tracks, prepare you for such careers as law, teaching, foreign service, international business, and international tourism as well as careers in nonprofit environmental, arts, or other community organizations.
