The Master of Science in electrical engineering prepares graduates at an advanced level for a professional career as a practicing electrical engineer in industry, business or government. It also prepares students to pursue the PhD degree in electrical engineering. The three core courses, two one-year sequences and electives provide students with the opportunity to achieve both breadth and depth across a number of subdisciplines within electrical engineering. MSEE programs focus on telecommunications, digital signal processing, electrical power systems, electromagnetics and electrophysics of materials.
