The MATD program prepares graduates for a variety of career paths including, but not limited to, instructional design and delivery, organization development, and e-learning. Classes for the Training and Development degree are offered online. Roosevelt University's Master of Arts in Training and Development is designed to meet the needs of those currently employed in training and development as well as those wishing to enter this dynamic field. The program balances a comprehensive examination of current industry practices with relevant theory and hands-on experience. Special emphasis is placed on the application of emerging technologies to work place learning and organizational effectiveness.Students in the program will be prepared to assume a variety of roles in systematic instructional design, curriculum planning and implementation, e-learning, and organizational assessment and development. Three areas of specialization are available in e-learning, instructional design, and organization development.
