More than ever, companies are competing in a global marketplace, requiring their leaders to possess strong, effective global management skills. Thunderbird's online Global Management Program is intended to acquaint the business manager with the contextual variables that influence high-level corporate decision-making. Its focus is on understanding the process of globalization while emphasizing how government and market interactions shape the trade, currency and legal/regulatory environment within which managers must make decisions. The student will gain a practical understanding and framework to interpret how seemingly unrelated events in trade and currency matters impact the risk and opportunities for businesses and ultimately influence profit margins and the return on investment.
