A Certificate Program is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge, skills and abilities in a specific topic area.' Some individuals will take a certificate as an opportunity to continue towards a graduate degree.' Often certificates are used by individuals who want to change or advance in their careers.' Employers often view certificates very favorably as evidence of advanced knowledge in a particular specialty or content area. This is a Graduate Certificate (i.e. post undergraduate Certificate and taught at a Master's level) where students will take 4 courses (16 credits) to earn the Certificate or they can select individual courses for continuing education credits (CEUs).' The courses may be transferable towards the TUI-MS in Health Sciences Degree program
