TUI's College of Health Sciences offers an M.S. in Health Sciences with a concentration in International Health. In the 21st century, we continue to witness great inequities in access to availability of basic health care services around the globe. Developing regions of the world continue to suffer from significant public health problems. Poverty, ethnic tensions, violence, political instability, urban decay and natural and environmental hazards as well as poor population growth control continue to dominate the scene in many countries. Graduates of the M.S. in Health Sciences degree with a specialization in International Health will be prepared to fill positions in governmental, private, and national or international organizations. The program emphasizes cross cultural awareness, planning, implementing and evaluating sustainable health care development programs for communities and nations, develop student skills and ability to assess needs and develop priorities with limited resources
