The accelerated management completion degree is designed to meet the needs of adult learners.Students must have earned 30 semester hours of college credit and/or three years of relevant work experience. A bachelor's degree can be completed in as few as 15 months while meeting family and work obligations. Courses include economics, strategic decision-making, accounting, information systems, writing, and ethics. Coursework facilitates critical analysis of information as well as encouraging lifelong learning in order to keep up on emerging issues/ technology in the business world.
Credit may be earned for learning that is done outside of the traditional college classroom. This learning could include work experience, volunteering, workshops, and company-sponsored in-service programs. CLEP and DANTES tests can also earn credit. To help determine what learning experiences may apply, the student, with the assistance of the academic advisor, participates in a Prior Learning portfolio development process. Learning experiences are documented and evaluated for credit by campus faculty.
