In classes taught by professionals in the field, students earning a bachelor's degree in this program will:

• Prepare for industry-standard certificates*, such as Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and some of those available from Microsoft® and CompTIA®*
• Receive training in forensics, networking, and security similar to the that provided to law enforcement and industry professionals
• Learn techniques for managing computer crime, handling evidence and dealing with malicious software
