Online Bachelor Degree in Retail Management

The demand for a person with a bachelor degree in retail management will continue to grow as long as we have stores that sell or barter items to the public. It’s not as easy as just buying some stuff and putting it up in a window and the bachelor degree in retail management program leads the student through all the steps of managing a retail outlet or store.

Online Retail Management Bachelor Degree

An online retail management bachelor degree is a four year degree program on average. Through online school and with sufficient time to devote to studies the student can finish this much more quickly though. This course of study generally requires 120 to 150 semester credit hours, depending upon the school.
Generally the courses of study are divided into three groups for an online retail management bachelor degree program.

  • General education requirements are in place at most schools and the student will be required to take courses in science, math, English literature, English composition, history and the arts.
  • Elective courses are to allow the student to explore other avenues of learning. They can be focused toward specializations in the major area of study or can be anything else the student is interested in.
  • Major course of study which is usually the bulk of a student’s classes after the first two years and the general education requirements are met.
