English as a second language teachers also know as ESL teachers is a very specialized and important field within our educational system. With many immigrants flooding the border the demand for the ESL teacher has grown and is expected to grow even further in the coming years. Basic skills with the primary language is important for success within any culture and the ESL teacher will assist the student in not only understanding and speaking English, but to be able to read and write English. From the very basic level of things so simple as being able to fill out simple forms or read street signs to more advanced levels for professionals to function in another language.
